Earlier this year, the Church of Scotland’s General Assembly and the Scottish Episcopal Church’s General Synod both approved the Saint Andrew Declaration, a document prepared jointly by our two Churches which expresses our commitment to deepen our unity with one another in Christ.

The Declaration will be signed in St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral, Edinburgh, at a special service at 4.30 p.m. on St Andrew’s Day, 30th November, 2021.

The service will be preceded by a day conference reflecting on the history of the two Churches and the opportunities arising from the Declaration. Because of Covid, the conference has to be online. You are warmly invited to participate in the conference – please register your interest at https://saintandrewdeclaration.wordpress.com.
