Beginn des Dialogs zwischen der Katholischen Kirche und der Gemeinschaft Evangelischer Kirchen in Europa – Pressemitteilung

Vom 19. bis 21. April 2022 fand die erste Sitzung eines Dialogs zwischen dem Päpstlichen Rat zur Förderung der Einheit der Christen (PCPCU) und der Gemeinschaft Evangelischer Kirchen in Europa (GEKE) statt. Die Aufnahme des Dialogs war im Herbst 2018 zwischen beiden Partnern vereinbart worden. Getagt wurde auf Einladung der Evangelisch-reformierten Kirche Basel-Stadt im Bischofshof am Basler Münster. Für die Organisation war Prof. Dr. Martin Friedrich, der scheidende Studiensekretär der GEKE, verantwortlich, der mit Dank verabschiedet wurde.

Ziel des Dialogs ist die Ausarbeitung eines Dokuments, für das als vorläufiger Arbeitstitel „Auf dem Weg zu einem gemeinsamen Verständnis von Kirche. Vergewisserung, Vertiefung, Ausblick“ festgelegt wurde. Die erste Sitzung diente dem besseren gegenseitigen Kennenlernen, der genaueren Identifizierung der zu behandelnden Themen und der Verabredung über die nächsten Schritte. Die zweite Sitzung wird Anfang November 2022 in Augsburg stattfinden.

Start of the dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Communion of Protestant Churches in Europe – Press release

From the 19th to the 21st April 2022, the first meeting of a dialogue between the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity (PCPCU) and the Communion of Protestant Churches in Europe (CPCE) took place.  The initiation of the dialogue was agreed between the two partners in autumn 2018.  The meeting was held at the invitation of the Evangelical Reformed Church of Basel-Stadt in the Bischofshof at Basel Minster. Prof. Dr. Martin Friedrich, the outgoing study secretary of the CPCE, was responsible for the organization, who was bid farewell with thanks.

The aim of the dialogue is the elaboration of a document for which the provisional working title “Auf dem Weg zu einem gemeinsamen Verständnis von Kirche. Vergewisserung, Vertiefung, Ausblick” [“Towards a Common Understanding of Church: Reassurance, Deepening, Outlook”]. The first session served to get to develop relationships, to identify the topics to be treated more precisely and to agree on the next steps. The second meeting will take place in Augsburg at the beginning of November 2022.

Inizio del dialogo tra la Chiesa cattolica e la Comunione di Chiese protestanti in Europa – Comunicato

Dal 19 al 21 aprile 2022 si è tenuta la prima sessione di dialogo tra il Pontificio Consiglio per la Promozione dell’Unità dei Cristiani (PCPUC) e la Comunione di Chiese Protestanti in Europa (GEKE/CCPE). L’inizio del dialogo è stato concordato tra i due partner nell’autunno del 2018. L’incontro si è svolto nel palazzo vescovile presso la cattedrale di Basilea, dietro invito della Chiesa evangelica riformata della città di Basilea. Responsabile per l’organizzazione della riunione è stato il Prof. Dott. Martin Friedrich, segretario uscente della GEKE, al quale è stata espressa gratitudine per il servizio reso durante il suo incarico.

L’obiettivo del dialogo è la preparazione di un documento, il cui titolo provvisorio è “Auf dem Weg zu einem gemeinsamen Verständnis von Kirche. Vergewisserung, Vertiefung, Ausblick“ [“In Cammino verso una comprensione comune delle Chiese. Confronti, approfondimenti, prospettive”]. La prima sessione è servita a conoscersi meglio, a individuare con maggiore precisione gli argomenti da trattare e a concordare i passi da intraprendere. Il secondo incontro si terrà ad Augusta all’inizio del mese di novembre prossimo.

Début du dialogue entre l’Église catholique et la Communion d’Églises protestantes en Europe – Communiqué de presse

Du 19 au 21 avril 2022 a eu lieu la première rencontre de dialogue entre le Conseil pontifical pour la promotion de l’unité des chrétiens (CPPUC) et la Communion d’Églises protestantes en Europe (CEPE).  L’inauguration du dialogue a été convenue entre les deux partenaires à l’automne 2018.  La réunion s’est tenue à l’invitation de l’Église évangélique réformée de Bâle-Ville dans le Bischofshof de la cathédrale de Bâle. L’organisation avait été confiée au Pr Dr Martin Friedrich, Secrétaire d’étude de la CEPE en fin de mandat, auquel les participants ont exprimé leurs remerciements et fait leurs adieux.

Le dialogue a pour objectif d’élaborer un document ayant pour titre provisoire “Auf dem Weg zu einem gemeinsamen Verständnis von Kirche. Vergewisserung, Vertiefung, Ausblick” [“Vers une compréhension commune de l’Église. Confrontations, approfondissements, perspectives”]. La première session a permis de nouer les premiers contacts, d’identifier les sujets à traiter plus précisément et de convenir des prochaines étapes. La deuxième rencontre aura lieu à Augsbourg au début du mois de novembre 2022.
