Young Theologians

Since 2020, the CPCE has been involving young people in its work through the Young Theologians programme. Young theologians aged between 21 and 30 from different member churches come together in this programme and experience the diversity of European Protestantism through personal exchanges with like-minded people.

Members are involved in various areas of the CPCE's work, which also ensures that the voice of the younger generation is heard in various processes.

The Young Theologians are all volunteers in this project, which gives them the opportunity to get to know the diversity of European Protestantism and at the same time build an important link between the CPCE and their respective churches. In addition to this programme, the CPCE cooperates with the Centro Melantone in Rome and the Centre for Protestant Theology in Eastern Europe (ZETO) in Sibiu in the field of theological education to promote Protestant theological studies in predominantly Catholic and Orthodox environments.
