From 2 to 4 November 2023 the fourth meeting of a dialogue between the Communion of Protestant Churches in Europe (CPCE) and the Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity (DPCU) took place in Augsburg. Under the leadership of Bishop Dr Bertram Meier (Augsburg) and CPCE President Dr John Bradbury (London), a Protestant-Catholic commission of experts discussed possible common ground in the understanding of the church. The aim of the dialogue, agreed between CPCE and the DPCU in autumn 2018, is a common word on the unity, holiness, catholicity and apostolicity of the church.<\/p>\n

The fifth meeting will take place in Tallinn in\u00a0April 2024.<\/p>\n

Vom 2. bis 4. November 2023 fand in Augsburg die vierte Sitzung eines Dialogs zwischen der Gemeinschaft Evangelischer Kirchen in Europa (GEKE) und dem vatikanischen Dikasterium zur F\u00f6rderung der Einheit der Christen (DPCU) statt. Unter der Leitung von Bischof Dr. Bertram Meier (Augsburg) und GEKE-Pr\u00e4sident Dr. John Bradbury (London) hat eine evangelisch-katholische Expertenkommission m\u00f6gliche Gemeinsamkeiten im Kirchenverst\u00e4ndnis diskutiert. Ziel des im Herbst 2018 zwischen GEKE und DPCU vereinbarten Dialogs ist ein gemeinsames Wort zur Einheit, Heiligkeit, Katholizit\u00e4t und Apostolizit\u00e4t der Kirche.<\/p>\n

Das f\u00fcnfte Treffen wird im April 2024 in Tallinn stattfinden.<\/p>\n
