Die Bedeutung eines Logos oder einer Wort-Bild Marke kann heutzutage nicht genug hervorgehoben werden. In einer Zeit der medialen Flut sind bildliche Botschaften oft wichtiger als verbale. Deshalb wurde auch das Logo der Vollversammlung 2024 in Sibiu\/Hermannstadt so ungeduldig erwartet.<\/p>\n
Den Auftrag zu dessen Erstellung hat der siebenb\u00fcrgische K\u00fcnstler Radu Nebert (Rum\u00e4nien, Klausenburg) erhalten. Die Farbgebung \u00fcbernimmt das Blau des klassischen GEKE-Logos. Als Bildbasis steht das Thema der Versammlung \u201eIm Lichte Christi \u2013 Berufen zur Hoffnung\u201c. Der Gedanke wird im Bild dadurch aufgenommen, dass im Hintergrund ein runder Bogen den Horizont abschlie\u00dft, ein Bogen der die Sonne \u2013 eben das Licht \u2013 symbolisiert. Der Bogen endet im GEKE-Logo \u2013 zugleich ein Kreuz. Damit wird die Vollversammlung graphisch klar zugeordnet. Wer phantasiebegabt ist, kann in der Kombination auch einen Kometen mit Lichtschweif erkennen. Das l\u00e4sst sich spielerisch mit dem Stern von Bethlehem verbinden, auf alle F\u00e4lle mit Licht.<\/p>\n
Im Vordergrund wird der lokale Bezug sichtbar. Die Stadt Hermannstadt \u2013 rum\u00e4nisch Sibiu \u2013 ungarisch Nagyszeben \u2013 wird durch zwei ihrer Symbolgeb\u00e4ude repr\u00e4sentiert, welche jeder Einheimische kennt: Es ist zum einen der Turm der evangelischen Stadtpfarrkirche, die \u00fcber den D\u00e4chern der Stadt das Zentrum von Hermannstadt beherrscht. Daneben steht zum anderen ein zweiter Turm. Dieses ist der Ratsturm, in dem f\u00fcr Jahrhunderte der Stadtrat seinen Sitz hatte. Damit findet Geistliches und Weltliches, Kirchliches und Politisches seinen Platz im Bild. Beides wird durch den Lichtkreis verbunden. Die GEKE-Vollversammlung will nicht nur im Inneren der Kirche bleiben, sondern auch hinausgehen in alle Welt.<\/p>\n

The importance of a logo or word-image brand cannot be overemphasised these days. In a time of media overload, visual messages are often more important than verbal ones. This is why the logo of the 2024 Assembly in Sibiu was so eagerly awaited.<\/p>\n
The Transylvanian artist Radu Nebert (Romania, Cluj-Napoca) was commissioned to create it. The colour scheme takes over the blue of the classic CPCE logo. The theme of the assembly „In the Light of Christ – Called to Hope“ is the basis of the picture. The idea is taken up in the picture by the fact that in the background an arch closes the horizon, an arch which symbolises the sun – the light. The arch ends in the CPCE logo – at the same time a cross. Thus, the General Assembly is clearly assigned graphically. If you are imaginative, you can also recognise a comet with a tail of light in the combination. This can be playfully combined with the Star of Bethlehem, in any case with light.<\/p>\n
In the foreground, the local reference becomes visible. The city of Sibiu \u2013 Hungarian: Nagyszeben \u2013 German: Hermannstadt – is represented by two of its symbolic buildings, which every local knows: on the one hand, there is the tower of the Lutheran Cathedrale, which dominates the centre of Sibiu above the roofs of the city. Next to it is a second tower. This is the Council Tower, where the city council had its seat for centuries. Thus, spiritual and secular, ecclesiastical and political find their place in the picture. Both are connected by the circle of light. The CPCE General Assembly does not only want to stay inside the church, but also to go out into the world.<\/p>\n
